LATEST | Important injury update on Carson Soucy
The Canucks inked the big format defenceman Carson Soucy and the time he spent on the ice with the Canucks, revealed that he was a great addition to the team's core. Unfortunately the veteran got injured and found himself on the sidelines yet again.
SOUCY'S RETURN: EXPECTED SOON?
The team's head coach chose not to give a timeline on his number seven's possible return, but he revealed that Soucy had resume skating and was nearing a return:
«It's not day to day, but it's not month to month. He's in that sweet spot where if he comes in, a couple more skates, feels less pain � or no pain � then you get the next level: He starts to practice with us. He gets more one on one drills, more battle drills. And then you go from there,»
Soucy'a return will cause an interesting problem for the Canucks. It's quite obvious that Noah Juulsen will be penalized. Rick Tocchet will have an interesting issue with the team's 2nd and 3rd pairing. Where should Soucy fit in? Should he be playing by Cole's side? Or with Myers on the 3rd pairing?
