LATEST | J.T. Miller comments on Bo Horvat's return to Vancouver
Wednesday night was a special one for Vancouver Canucks fans as former captain Bo Horvat made his return to Rogers Arena for the first time.
Horvat got emotional during warm-ups, seeing the signs from fans, and then during his video tribute as well.
After the game, Horvat's former teammate J.T. Miller spoke about his return to Vancouver and shared that he was glad to see that he got an ovation from the fans in attendance.
"He's a good friend, a good teammate, and a really good hockey player, so I'm really glad he got the ovation that he did." Miller said.
It was unclear what sort of reception Horvat was going to get from the fans, especially with his comments about leaving Vancouver for somewhere he felt "wanted", but it's great to see that there was a loud ovation for him and signs welcoming him back to Rogers Arena.
The Vancouver Canucks won't havr to wait too long before they face their former captain again, this time on Long Island, in early January.
