LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces roster movement
The announcement just came through; Patrik Allvin has made it known that Linus Karlsson has been sent back to the Abbotsford Canucks.
Following the team's 2-1 win against the Coyotes, Karlsson was called up, and many thought he'd be getting into action. Against all odds, Andrei Kuzmenko was kept in the lineup, and Karlsson only got to practice with the big club:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Linus Karlsson has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL).
Karlsson had strong showings in the AHL but has yet to register a point in the NHL. With the Canucks' depth on the wings, he could be sacrificed and used as a trade chip closer to the deadline.
