LATEST | Rick Tocchet reveals what makes J.T. Miller so valuable to the team
Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet praised several of his players during a press conference on Saturday. The team triumphed over the Toronto Maple Leafs, 6-4. They are now 8-1-1 across their last 10 games.
Vancouver conceded three straight goals in just over three minutes early in the second period, erasing their 3-0 lead, but managed to respond and score two late goals to secure the win. Conor Garland scored twice and added an assist, Nils Hoglander also scored twice, and captain Quinn Hughes recorded three assists.
Tocchet praised the Teddy Blueger line specifically, Nils Hoglander, J.T. Miller's poise and leadership, and Thatcher Demko's resiliency among other things:
