LATEST | Patrik Allvin as now set his eyes on two former Canucks to fill the right handed void
While the Canucks were informed they have missed out on Ethan Bear, another former Canuck's name has surfaced as a player of interest.
Rick Dhaliwal said on the Donnie and Dhali show that Jalen Chatfield of the Carolina Hurricanes may be a target.
He's under a million and he's a UFA,
Dhaliwal said.
There's two things the Canucks coaches love, it's size and skating and Chatfield fills that.
Dhaliwal says two former Canucks in Chatfield and Tanev are players the team is eyeing.
He also mentions that he doesn't think Tyson Barrie is a fit as he wouldn't get power play time in Vancouver.
The Hurricanes are reportedly interested in moving a defenseman to bolster their offense, with four pending UFAs on the backend.
Chatfield has 7 points in 22 games, he spent four seasons in the Canucks organization, playing 18 games in 2021-22.
