The Canucks have faced many ups and downs this year and the team's struggles. After inking an enormous $56M, J.T. Miller's competitiveness was brought out big-time, and we may have witnessed the worst of him.

Some incidents, and media appearances caused stir out on social platforms, and it ultimately led to Frank Seravalli reporting that the Canucks' star player had developed the reputation of being a 'locker-room pr*ck'':

Seravalli is a reputed insider who's been around the league for quite some time now, and his record for breaking information leads to positive outcomes more often than not.

Harman Dayal, the Athlectic's journalist covering the Canucks shared information that differs from Seravalli's reports. Covering the Canucks, he's definitely spent a lot of time with the team and got to know them up to a certain point. In a recent article, the journalist gave information that directly contradicted Seravalli's report.

The journalist was asked who he felt would be the better Canuck to organize a bachelor party, and his response said a lot:

'J.T. Miller. When the team's winning, he's such a fun personality around the locker room. He's also played 11 NHL seasons, which means he's been on a ton of road trips around North America. With that much time on the road, I'd trust him to pick a great city and venues.''

At that point, we're all very much aware that Miller is very passionate about the game and about winning. Obviously, things weren't going his way, nor the team's early in the campaign, and it may have brought the worst of him. These reports only suggest that Miller has a positive output on the team, and Rick Tocchet only corroborated those facts as he's stated on multiple occasions that he liked what he brought to the team.

Since the new coaching staff took over, Miller has looked like a very different player. Hopefully, that keeps improving, as the team will need him at his peak in order to work their way into a playoff spot.
