On the show, guest Frank Corrado was asked by Matt Sekeres whether an addition of a puck moving D, namely Tyson Barrie and Adam Boqvist, could be an addition worth making.
With Vinny Desharnais not known for his puck moving, Sekeres wondered whether adding an additional puck mover to cycle in with him would be worthwhile.
Corrado said especially at defence, having depth is crucial.
Of the two players mentioned, Corrado said he doesn't believe either would make a massive impact on Vancouver, but said it wouldn't be a bad move if they could pull it off.
Tyson Barrie, a 32 year old native of Victoria, BC, played 41 games last year for Nashville and added 15 points - also playing only one game in the playoffs.
Boqvist is a 23 year old D who was bought out recently, an 8th overall pick by the Blackhawks in 2018, Boqvist scored 10 points in 35 games and was eventually bought out as Columbus looks to make room for even younger players.
The Canucks are currently under the cap, with an extension for Arturs Silovs still to be determined, so they could theoretically accrue cap space as the season drags on.
