When the Vancouver Canucks traded away superstar J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, it was believed that the issues within the locker room were over, but according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, not all is well in paradise.

This season, the Vancouver Canucks have run into more issues than most teams, dealing with feuding stars, poor performances on the ice and constant injuries that have led to a lot of speculation and distraction, but apparently, there is still more to come.

Elliotte Friedman says the issues with the Vancouver Canucks are still not over

Whether it is the media's fault or actual evidence that the issues within the Canucks locker room still lives on, J.T. Miller is no longer with the team, and it feels like he still is with the major amount of attention the team still has on them.
Sportsnet analyst and NHL insider Elliotte Friedman says that when J.T Miller went on his leave of absence after an apparent conflict with head coach Rick Tocchet and a confirmed rift with Elias Pettersson, it was assumed that the issues would settle down, but they didn't.
It came to a point that the team was out of options and then even though Miller may not be the main piece for the bigger issues, a move was needed to try and figure it out.
"When Miller came back from his leave things just didn't get better in terms of the relationship and the stress and things like that," Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said. "I think everybody hoped he would come back and things would change and they didn't. I think that was when the decision was made, that they were gonna move on." - Friedman

Millers news teammate Mika Zibanejad commented on how he like Miller's style of leadership and communication on the ice and the bench during games, which has illustrated that he may not be the locker room canver than everyone painted him to be.
