Canucks release the names of sixty five players who will attend the team's training camp

After a long summer, hockey is finally back in Vancouver and other cities around the National Hockey League, with training camps opening up. The Canucks are set to hit the ice today in Penticton, British Columbia for their first on-ice session and late last night, shared their roster for training camp.

Vancouver's training camp roster features 65 players in total including a pair of players that have been invited through professional tryouts (PTOs) - Sammy Blais and Dylan Ferguson. 36 forward, 22 defencemen and seven goaltenders, including Thatcher Demko, make up the Canucks' training camp roster. The fact that Thatcher Demko was named to the roster is more of a formality than anything, although we'll likely find out more regarding his injury/recovery when he speaks to the media on Thursday.

Let's take a look at all 65 players that'll take to the ice in Penticton between today, September 19th, and September 22nd, where they'll wrap up with a Blue vs White scrimmage.

The Vancouver Canucks will wrap up their Penticton portion of training camp on Sunday, before getting the preseason underway on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken at Rogers Arena. They'll then head to Abbotsford the next night to face the Calgary Flames.
