Canucks Stars Connor Garland & Dakota Joshua Spend a Day Working at Tim Hortons
Vancouver Canucks forwards Dakota Joshua and Conor Garland recently swapped their hockey sticks for headsets and aprons, spending a day working at a Tim Hortons drive-through. The light-hearted event showcased the camaraderie between the two teammates, offering fans a glimpse of their off-ice chemistry and playful banter.
The duo was at the well-loved Canadian coffee chain not for the latest donuts or Timbits, but to take orders and serve customers with their signature humor. Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for the chirps to start flying.
«Sorry, sorry for the wait. We've got an amateur up here,» Joshua quipped to a customer, playfully pointing at Garland.
When Garland fumbled an order, Joshua didn't hold back. «Take it out of his paycheque,» he joked, as they both laughed at the mix-up. While their drive-through game had its moments of chaos-including Joshua admitting, «I'm just giving stuff away at the window»-the two Canucks eventually found their groove.
This fun stint comes as Garland and Joshua continue to build their chemistry, both on and off the ice. Known for their dynamic partnership during games, their friendship extends beyond the rink-whether it's joking around at Tim Hortons or sharing meals on the road. Garland mentioned last season,
«I sit with him on the plane after some games. We're pretty close friends when my wife lets me go out to dinner, I go out with him.»
As fans eagerly anticipate Joshua's return to the lineup, the focus will be on how the two forwards can channel their off-ice rapport back onto the ice and reignite the chemistry that has made them a fan-favorite pairing. With Joshua's comeback imminent, Canucks supporters can look forward to more antics-and hopefully more winning plays-from this entertaining duo.
