Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins was rollercoaster of emotions for Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller.

Miller scored an important short-handed goal on a breakaway, which marked his 30th of the season and the third consecutive season that he's reached the milestone. His goal, which came at the halfway mark of the second period, gave the Canucks a 3-2 lead over the Penguins and the following frame, the fans in attendance at Rogers Arena were chanting his name.

The Penguins would go on to tie the game up at 3-3, forcing overtime where Erik Karlsson scored, giving Pittsburgh their third win a row.

After Karlsson scored, J.T. Miller showed his frustration with the loss, which marked Vancouver's fifth defeat in their last six games. Miller smashed his stick over the crossbar, as can be seen at the 50 second mark in the video below.

The Canucks were able to pick up a point with the game going to overtime, but a loss is a loss and no one in that locker room right now is happy with how they're playing and they'll need to turn things around quickly.

Miller and the Canucks will be back in action on Thursday night as they host the Los Angeles Kings at Rogers Arena, with puck drop set for 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. Following the game, the Canucks will head out on a three-game road trip where they'll take on the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights.
