The Canucks lost a fourth straight game in Seattle, an occurrence we had not yet seen this season.
Undoubtedly, the team's head coach was outraged by his team's display on the ice. Rick Tocchet gave a lengthy post game interview where he pointed out that some of his players were no shows.
«It was a comedy of errors and it started to unravel. They (Kraken) were desperate. If our guys think that is playoff hockey, then we're in trouble.»
We know the Canucks have done well enough in the season's early stage to not need as many wins during the season's last stretches. However, the Canucks can't think they'll be walking into the playoffs with the mentality they bared against the Kraken.
Tocchet stated that he would've loved the get the players back on the ice for a few practice sessions. The Nucks will be back on the ice on Saturday as they have a meeting scheduled with the Big Bad Bruins.
