NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman & Podcast Host Confirms JT Miller Asked For A Trade But is Publicly Denying it
Rumored NHL insider and popular Spittin' Chiclets Podcast host Paul Bissonnette has come out to say that he is hearing JT Miller has asked for a trade but is publicly denying it.
When the news broke this past weekend that the Vancouver Canucks were working hard to trade superstar center JT Miller, fans were surprised about the urgency to move the forward all of a sudden.
But, the reason for the trade and the issues off the ice could be attributed to a major feud that has boiled over between Miller and head coach Rick Tocchet.
Paul Bissonnette and Elliotte Friedman Claim JT Miller Has Asked For a Trade
Amid the confrontation that led to JT Millers leave of absence in November, Spittin Chiclets host Paul Bissonnette has said he has heard from sources that after a 2nd heated altercation this weekend, JT Miller has apparently asked for a trade.
It is still not confirmed by the Canucks organization, but even NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman states that Miller has asked Patrik Allvin to move him as soon as possible.
It is surprising and not surprising at the same time.
Its surprising for the fact that it was stated by the team that he did not want to be moved and did not waive his no move clause.
It is no surprising in the least though as the ongoing issues with the head coach and Elias Pettersson has caused so much distraction and rifts within the locker room that a trade could have easily been the conclusion for the forward.
