Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin has made it clear that he wants to find a suitable replacement for J.T. Miller, and captain Quinn Hughes may be able to work his magic to get something done.
On Tuesday, Canucks insider reported that the Vancouver Canucks are highly interested in trading for Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris amid the trade that send J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers.
The Vancouver Canucks could pursue Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris, Adam Kierszenblat of The Hockey News believes. The Canucks insider said the Canucks are interested in Norris as Kierszenblat believes Norris could be a good addition at center for Vancouver.
Now, further information has come out that Quinn Hughes is as invested to this trade becoming reality more than anyone.
Quinn Hughes opens up about his relationship with Josh Norris
As stated, now that J.T. Miller has been shipped off to the big apple, the Canucks are looking for a center to somewhat replace him, but a player of his caliber is not easy to replicate.
A solid candidate is that of Josh Norris of the Ottawa Senators, and it appears that Quinn Highes has some reason to push for this trade to happen.
Quinn Highes told the media that Norris and himself are best friends and even see one another on a day to day basis during the summer as they live in close proximity to each other.

It is clear that they the two are extremely close, and it would not be surprising in the slightest in Hughes has voiced his interest and opinion to general manager Patrik Allvin in order to trade for Norris.
