Lemay is best known for being apart of the Canucks organization from 1981 to 1987 while playing in 317 career NHL regular season games.
The one-time 20 goal scorer also notably played for the Edmonton Oilers, Boston Bruins and Winnipeg Jets. After going up and down from the American Hockey league to the NHL, he decided to go over seas and continue his professional career to play in Germany, where he lit up the league for 10 seasons before retiring in the year 2000.
As a member of the Edmonton Oilers he was able to win the ultimate prize and hoist the Stanley Cup in the 1986-87 season.
