Scott Laughton traded to Toronto Maple Leafs

After it was reported that the Philadelphia Flyers and the Canucks were in trade talks that would send veteran forward Scott Laughton to Vancouver, it turns out this will not be the case.

Just over a week ago, it was believed that Scott Laughton was linked to the Canucks, especially after he posted a photo on social media insinuating that he was being dealt.
Although Confirmed to be true, he will not being coming to the Canucks.

Toronto Maple leafs acquire Scott Laughton from the Philadelphia Flyers

The Canucks were fleeced once again this 2025 trade deadline as The Toronto Maple Leafs have swooped in and acquired Scott Laughton. a 4th and 6th round pick for Nikita Grebeken and a conditional 1st round pick.
Scott Laughton is heading to the Maple Leafs in exchange for a Conditional 2027 First-Round Pick and Nikita Grebenkin.
General manager Patrik Allvin and the Canucks have yet to join the party and make an trades to improve their roster, but the day is still young.
