Terrible news strikes the former Canuck Curtis Lazar
The Canucks parted ways with Curtis Lazar at the 2023 NHL trade deadline. The Salmon Arm, BC native has been with the New Jersey Devils ever since.
The former Canucks Head Coach Travis Green announced during a pre-game interview that Curtis Lazar would be taken out of the line-up. He added that there was doubt as to whether or not he'd return to the line-up before the end of the season.
"I don't know if we'll see [Lazar] for the rest of the season."
The Devils were surprised by their lack of success this season. After they emerged as a dominant team last year, they failed to materialize as vital, with a lineup appearing to be better, which caught everyone short.
On his end, Lazar collected career-high numbersthe forward totalled 25 points in 71 outings.
