Vancouver Canucks fans can breathe a sigh of relief on Wednesday morning as Nikita Zadorov will be allowed to play tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.

During Tuesday night's game against the Vegas Golden Knights, Nikita Zadorov hit Brett Howden from behind into the boards and was ejected from the contest after being handed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding.

Many were wondering if there would be any supplemental discipline for Nikita Zadorov, which would've been his second suspension in as many months following his two-game ban back in February for a check to the head of Lucas Raymond. But now, we have our answer.

According to Rick Dhaliwal of Donnie & Dhali, Nikita Zadorov will NOT be facing any supplemental discipline for his hit on Brett Howden last night.

"There will be no further discipline for Nikita Zadorov from the DOPS for his boarding major and game misconduct last night.

The 28-year-old has been a solid addition to the Canucks' blue line and has played a big role in recent weeks in the team's top-four. In 47 games for the Canucks, Zadorov has 12 points (five goals, seven assists), 94 penalty minutes and is a plus-seven.
