We're nearly seven months away from the return of best-on-best international hockey with the 4 Nations Face-Off getting underway in February 2025.
In recent days, the writers at NHL.com have shared their projected rosters for all four of the participating teams - Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States, the latter two which included some members of the Vancouver Canucks.
Each participating nation have already named their first six players to their roster including
Quinn Hughes for the United States, which will be his first tournament for his country since the 2019 IIHF World Championship.
In their roster projections, the writers at NHL.com shared that they believe
J.T. Miller and
Thatcher Demko will join Quinn Hughes on the United States' roster, while
Brock Boeser may be in the mix for a spot.
As for Team Sweden, the NHL.com writers listed
Elias Pettersson on their roster, which if he's named to it later this year, would be his first international tournament since the 2019 World Championship where he had ten points in eight games.
The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off kicks off on February 12th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. Sweden and the United States are set to go head-to-head on the final day of the round robin in Boston, before the top two teams advance to the final which is set for February 20th, also at TD Garden.
