TSN Analyst Craig Button weighs on the Jake Guentzel and Elias Lindholm debate
The Canucks have plenty of work on their plate as we near the free agency's opening.
At this year's deadline, the Canucks were involved in just about every top player's derby. From Jake Guentzel to Tyler Toffoli, to the one they eventually one, Elias Lindholm. All expected to be free agents on July 1st, the Canucks could once again be a part of every derby.
Management has strong connections with Jake Guentzel, Tyler Toffoli was once a trade deadline acquisition and loved his time in Vancouver. Then there's Elias Lindholm, who was just recently with the team, but seems very inclined to have full autonomy on July 1st.
"If I am given a choice to have Guentzel and whatever the money is or Lindholm, It's not even a choice, I am running to Guentzel every day of the week.."
