With the Vancouver Canucks only having only handful of games left in the season to try and secure the final wildcard spot in the West, they are in desperate need for help in their top-6 as Elias Pettersson and Nils Hoglander are out with injuries.
After forwards Elias Pettersson and Nils Hoglander both suffered undisclosed injuries in their latest matchup with against the New York Rangers on Saturday, it was unclear if they were going to play on Monday against the Devils on Monday in what one of the most important games of the season.

Vancouver Canucks call-up Aatu Raty on an emergency basis
Unfortunately, this latest announcement has basically confirmed that they will not be available for at least their next game.
Vancouver Canucks general manager Allvin has annoucned today that he made the necessary decision to call up 22-year-old future star Aatu Raty in their absence.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Aatu Räty has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Already having multiple stints in the NHL this season, in 21 games for Vancouver, Raty he has not been able to stick with the big club, scoring just 2 goals and 2 assists, with a minus 2 rating.
Other other hand, he has shown great promise in the AHL, scoring 17 goals 22 assists for 39 points in 41 games.
