The Vancouver Canucks have a few names to keep an eye on ahead of the trade deadline, including Brock Boeser, but so far, it appears the team isn't too impressed with the offers they've received for the pending UFA forward.

With contract talks between the two sides having gone south after a five-year, $40 million offer earlier in the season, the Vancouver Canucks have two options with the forward ahead of the deadline - trade him or keep him as their own rental to help with their playoff push.
Undoubtedly, Brock Boeser is the Vancouver Canucks' biggest trade chip available heading into tomorrow, however the team hasn't been happy with the offers they've received so far.

Vancouver Canucks reportedly not impressed with trade offers for Brock Boeser

In a post on X this afternoon, Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects shared that he's told the Vancouver Canucks aren't impressed with trade offers they've received for Brock Boeser, adding that the team will try to wait out the market to maximize what they could get return for him.
Robinson added that he believes that the Vancouver Canucks' preference is to trade him before 12 pm PT tomorrow.
"I'm told the Canucks are none too impressed with the offers on Brock Boeser at this point.

He's a secondary option for buyers so Canucks will try and wait out the market to maximize a return.

I do think preference is to move him." Robinson said.
If Brock Boeser does end up getting traded either today or tomorrow, it would leave a big hole in the Canucks' lineup, but it's understandable that they'd want to get an asset or two for him rather than the Burnsville, Minnesota native walking to free agency on July 1st.
Boeser spoke yesterday afternoon ahead of what potential could be his final game as a Vancouver Canuck, saying that the uncertainty surrounding his situation is a bit scary, and that he can't say enough good things about the fan base and the city.
"Yeah, every time you have uncertainty it's scary and the unknown is scary. So, obviously there's a little bit of stress involved in that. It's not a great situation, like I said, I'm really just trying to focus on tonight and I'm still here, I'm still on the Canucks and that's my main worry right now." Boeser said.

He added, "I can't say enough about the fan base and the city. Everyone is so kind to me when I'm just out and about. Everyone's always had my back and supported me and it's something that I really appreciate about this place."

In 54 games this season, Boeser has tallied 37 points (18 goals, 19 assists), 16 penalty minutes and is a minus-20.
Canucks Daily will have full coverage of the National Hockey League's trade deadline on Friday including any deals the Vancouver Canucks make before 12 pm PT.
