LATEST | Former Canuck gets violently knocked out in Florida
The former Canuck William Lockwood has always been one who wasn't scared of playing the game's dirty areas. He was involved in an altercation with the Wild's netminder Marc-Andre Fleury, altercation to which he'll most likely be suspended since the NHL Player Safety Department have called him for an hearing.
The Wild's players weren't going to let that pass, Brandon Duhaime jumped Lockwood and absolutely knocked him out:
The NHL Player Safety Department will be issuing a statement later on confirming the suspension to LockWood. The forward was traded from the Canucks to the Rangers last season in a deal that landed the Canucks the Russian Vitaly Kravstov.
The 25-year-old played 23 NHL games this season collecting one assist and 14 penalty minutes.
