Analyst takes a look into Bo Horvat's next deal
Ryan Kennedy suggested in his The Hockey News Podcast, that team Captain Bo Horvat's next contract could approach what Tavares signed.
Tavares had taken his worth to the free agency market where he signed a deal worth $77 million with his hometown team the Maple Leafs back in 2018.
Another contract that was used to draw comparison, was Kadri's deal with the Flames over the summer. The cup winning centerman had a career year totaling 87 points over 71 games. He later signed a deal worth $49 million over the next 7 years.
Horvat is a player that does it all on the ice and he spends a lot of time on the ice each and every time. The way he's playing so far this season will surely help once he collects his due.
