BREAKING | Insider gives a MAJOR hint at the next Maple Leafs' GM
Not too long ago, the Maple Leafs' President and former NHLer Brendan Shanahan announced that the organization had chosen to part ways with their GM of the last few years, Kyle Dubas. While it seems Dubas' name has been circling around lots of franchises, one name has been frequently linked to the Leafs.
The renowned insider Darren Dreger, drop a bombshell moments ago when he revealed who was the top candidate for the position. Per Dreger, Brad Treliving, the Flames' former GM, is set to become the Maple Leafs GM. Per the team's formal announcement.
Treliving chose to leave the Flames organization after a disappointing season, just months after pulling, perhaps the biggest trade in the last 10 years. Moving Matthew Tkachuk for notably Jonathan Huberdeau and Mackenzie Weegar.
The Maple Leafs need a major change to occur since their core players have failed to show up at the most crucial time for the last few years, perhaps Treliving could be coming in Toronto to pull of another major trade?
