CRAZY: Engvall gets a game misconduct for this vicious slash to the head
The Kings we're playing the Maple Leafs tonight, in Toronto.
Pierre Engvall, who's not known to be a dirty player, was involved in an altercation in the neutral zone with Kings' defenseman Sean Durzi.
They exchange a few cross-checks but Engvall ended the altercation with a vicious slash to Durzi's head. See here:
Engvall was awarded a game misconduct on the play, the Maple Leafs still ended up winning the matchup 5-0.
An official statement has yet to come regarding the incident, though Engvall can expect a call.
