The Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin is expected to be fairly busy over the next days, as he's looking to make some changes ahead of the NHL's trade deadline.

The Canucks GM feels like they don't need a full rebuild, but more like a little retooling to improve for next season. They have already traded captain Bo Horvat last month, and there's been plenty of interest in guys like Brock Boeser, Tyler Myers, and Luke Schenn who seems to be the next Canuck ready to be on the move.

However, the Canucks are also trying to test the waters to see what kind of return they could get for forward J.T. Miller. The 29-year-old has been in trade rumors for a while even before the Canucks gave him a insane contract.

Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli would share the lastest on a possible Miller trade:

"He's a competitor, he wants to win, he's got fire but he rubs a lot of people the wrong way. I think that's a fair statement to make based on the reporting I've done from guys that are in the room, that he can be a pain in the ass."

Seravalli mentioned, this is well known and other teams consider all of this when they think about acquiring him.

Miller's attitude has always been an issue, also despite having a good season with 19 goals and 32 assists Miller tends to throw tantrums. This makes teams are very hesitant to acquire him, especially with a massive contract that pays him $8 million dollars annually until the end of the 2029-30 season.
