LATEST | Major absence at the Canucks' practice today
The Canucks were right back at work today after yesterday's disappointing loss against the Seattle Kraken.
One thing that didn't go unnoticed in today's skate was Quinn Hughes' absence. As confirmed by Jeff Paterson, the team's top defenceman wasn't on the ice:
'' No Quinn Hughes at practice. 6D today are Myers, Bear, Burroughs, Rathbone, Hirose & McWard ''
There is no confirmation, as of now, of what the causes of his absence could be. It would come as a huge blow if Hughes turned out to be injured for the next few games. The superstar defenceman is the cornerstone of this defense and the Canucks would definitely be in bad shape if he were to miss some time, unless it's the plan.
