Former Vancouver Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy seems to have found his offensive game just days after being traded to the New York Rangers, which is piling up the negative attention on general manager Patrick Allvin.
As the NHL Trade Deadline came to a close yesterday, many teams' rosters are looking vastly different, but that is not the reality for the Vancouver Canucks as they refused to make any trades or sign any players to a contract extension (Boeser Cough Cough).
Even though the trade was coined as a move to shed his $3 million contract, he showed improvement through out the entire season, and like J.T. Miller, is starting to light it up in the big apple.
Soucy had 2G in his first 58 games of the season. Then he scored in what turned out to be his final game with #Canucks. And now in his first game with NY Rangers
With not making any moves and seeing past players start to excel with their new teams, it is leaving a sour taste in the mouths of all Canucks fans, especially when they are supposed to making a push for a playoff spot.
