MAJOR | Tocchet adopts a last minute change: completely change his lines
It was just confirmed, the Canucks ran the warmup with completely different lines. They'll be facing the Ducks in their 81st game of the season in a few minutes.
Elias Pettersson currently sits at 99 points and in order to help him get there, Tocchet matched him up with J.T. Miller and Phil Di Giuseppe on the team's top line.
Dakota Joshua, Nils Aman, and Brock Boeser were dressed as the second unit. While Andrei Kuzmenko, the goon, Sheldon Dries, and Conor Garland were on the 3rd.
Jack Studnicka was back on the 4th line pivoting the middle with Aidan McDonough and Anthony Beauvilier on the wings.
It's an intriguing choice to move Andrei Kuzmenko off of Pettersson's line, the two have developed undeniable chemistry. However, J.T. Miller has been smoking out as of late and he will probably give a hand to EP40 in reaching the milestone he couldn't get to last year.
