MUST SEE: Shane Wright scores in his own goal
The exhibition games have started ahead of the 2023 World Junior Championship and the Canadian Team's 2nd exhibition game is underway against the Slovakians.
Everything is under control so far for the Canadian team, led by what seems to be the 1st overall pick in the next draft, Connor Bedard, and the 4th pick in the latest draft. Talent isn't lacking in this lineup. They set the tone on the tourney Monday when they hit the ice against Switzerland, the Canadian had too good of a lineup for the opposition and skated away with a 6-0 win. Bedard notched 3 assists.
Today in their game against Slovakia, everything is once again going the Canadian way, the team is carrying a 5-0 lead early in the 3rd when Wright throws a blind pass in front of the Canadian net and it ends up in the back of it.
Even though they've scored one in their own net, the Canadian team definitely has this one under control. They'll be kicking things off for real on December 26th against Czechia in Moncton.
