NHL analyst Kevin Weekes just announced a transaction between the Vancouver Canucks and the Carolina Hurricanes. That's two trades in less than 24 hours for general manager Patrik Allvin, who seems to be working hard to improve his team.
Here's the trade, according to Frank Seravalli:
To the Canucks: defenseman Ethan Bear + forward Lane Pederson
To the Hurricanes: 2023 Fifth round pick
Edit: The Hurricanes are reportedly retaining 400 000 $ from Bear's salary.
