WATCH: Pettersson's reaction after a bad shift is filmed and it's not sitting well with the fans
J.T. Miller has been under the loop for the latest months since his reactions to every play he's made have been closely examined, but in yesterday's game, it's actually the team's superstar Elias Pettersson that was caught completely disgruntled.
It's clearly not in his habits to be in the news for negative reactions, but the Swedish forward was clearly not happy with the way the game was going. There's nothing unusual for a high-level athlete to be pissed off when things aren't working out, but there are some reactions you don't wish to see in, what is most likely to be your team's future.
After a bad shift, Pettey gets back to the bench and literally drops his stick in despair. The game had not been going the Canucks' way and clearly, it had gotten to him.
As the Twitter posts show:
''I'm at a bit of a loss for words, how dysfunctional is the locker room that not a single coach or player goes over to him.''
Pettersson reacts to an unfavorable sequence, is he right? Should someone intervene? Or should a professional athlete be able to overcome a bad shift by himself?
Miller's reaction and body language have caused quite a debate amongst the fans, but perhaps we should observe the team's attitude as a whole and not just one player.
