The all-Canadian second-round series between the Canucks and Oilers has been complicated on both team's bodies.

The Canucks have had players in and out of their line-up, notable ones too, as Demko only one of the team's 11 playoff games. It appears that injuries have now taken over the Oilers.

According to the latest reports, both Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman are pretty banged up and dealing with injuries:

Hearing Connor McDavid is dealing with an injury, and Zach Hyman is banged up. Every team has injuries, but this will be a challenge for #LetsGoOilers if they are to beat the #Canucks

This couldn't be coming at a worse time for the Oilers, as they'll face elimination on Saturday. They'll need all hands on deck since, even at 100%, Hyman and McDavid have had issues with constantly being offensive threats to the Oilers. Through five games against the Canucks, McDavid has been limited to 6 points (4 of them came in one game). Hyman, for his part, has only managed 3 points.

Led by Arturs Silovs' sensational work between the pipes, the Canucks and Rick Tocchet's defensive systems have kept one of the NHL's best offence under three goals for 4 of the five games in this series.

Through 5 games, the Canucks have not only done a great job of keeping the Oilers' best players away from their net, but they've also been excellent at getting into their head. He hasn't been as dominant since Carson Soucy and Nikita Zadorov rocked Connor McDavid.
