LATEST | NHL issues a statement on Anze Kopitar following his performance in Vancouver
The Los Angeles Kings were in town, and it's safe to say that none of the Californians were passengers. The Canucks had everything lined-up to secure their 100-point and a playoff spot, but Anze Kopitar had other thoughts in mind.
NHL ISSUES A STATEMENT ON ANZE KOPITAR
Anze Kopitar, the long-time NHL veteran, two-time Stanley Cup Winner, and multiple individual award winner, is still getting it done.
The Kings' captain helped his team through another win against the Canucks and factored in on two of his team's goals. The NHL then issued a statement confirming another career feat he had obtained:
Anze Kopitar recorded his 14th career 40-assist season and tied Sidney Crosby for the most among all active players The 36-year-old still has gas in the tank. He now has 64 points through 71 games.
