FIGHT | Mark Friedman sticks up for his teammates in his first game: Left the ice directly afterwards
Tonight marked the newly acquired Mark Friedman's debut with the Canucks. The team's newest defenceman wasted no time making a name for himself among his new teammates.
The Canucks are in Tampa Bay tonight, and Tanner Jeannot was flirting around Thatcher Demko's net with too much ease to Friedman's liking. The two players got going moments later:
Things didn't necessarily go Friedman's way. However, he did show up and stood up big time; the veteran Defenseman unfortunately went straight to the tunnel after his encounter with the Lightning's forward.
UPDATE: Friedman came back before the end of the second period.
