Former NHLer makes a promising prediction for Elias Pettersson: It's exciting
Elias Pettersson centers just about every Canucks conversation, and not necessarily for the best reasons. He entered the last year of a deal that'll make him a Restricted Free Agent at the end of the year, and it's all people talk about.
Conversely, we should be talking about the season full of promise he had last year and how much better he should be this year. The Swede superstar carried the team on his back in 2022-2023, and the hopes are that he can take the Canucks into the playoffs this year.
RYAN WITHNEY MAKES A BOLD PREDICTION FOR EP40
Pettersson had 102 points last year, and the former NHLer Ryan Withney had a bold prediction for the Canucks' superstar on his Spittin Chiclets podcast. The former NHL top pick has Elias Pettersson up for the NHL's MVP and the Selke if the Canucks can get into the playoffs.

Pettersson put on a show last year and showed no signs of slowing down when Rick Tocchet took over. The Swede is ready, and with Andrei Kuzmenko coming to camp in his best shape, there is no sign that the Canucks' dynamic duo will be slowing down this year.
Pettey put up 102 points last year, and he's now entering a contract year; chances are he's the right guy to bet on at this point. Can he take both trophies home?
