LATEST | Canucks issue official statement: Brock Boeser is making history
The Canucks 2015 first-rounder Brock Boeser has had his fair share of dark times over the last two seasons, but he showed up in a rejuvenated self this year.
40 MINUTES NEEDED TO MAKE HISTORY
Boeser scored a natural hat trick in the season opener against the Oilers and has now entered the Canucks' history books because of it.
The Canucks issued an official statement during the 2nd intermission. The winger became the first to record a natural hatty during an opening night:
'Brock Boeser makin' history! 🎩''
Boeser didn't stop there. When writing these lines, the Canucks' number 6 added a fourth goal. The winger had registered 18 goals and 55 points in 74 games in 2022-2023, and if one bet had to be taken on this particular day, I'd bet that he finally Boeser's break-out year.
