FIGHT | Dakota Joshua avenges Conor Garland and meets Vincent Desharnais on center ice for heavyweight tilt
The Canucks had already met twice with the Oilers during the pre-season, and they definitely built up that energy. In the two team's last meeting Vincent Desharnais released a nasty cross-check to Conor Garland's head and today Dakota Joshua had a few words for the giant format defenseman.
The two met center-ice and engaged in a heavy weight fight:
It definitely changes the tempo at the Rogers Arena, the Canucks had then failed to keep an offensive tempo. Since then, they've killed a penalty and grabbed a 2-0 lead. Go Canucks Go!
