LATEST | Canucks prospect continuing strong season
Last May, Vancouver Canucks prospect Vitali Kravtsov decided that he was going to return home to Russia and signed a two-year contract with KHL club Traktor Chelyabinsk.
The following month, the Canucks issued him a qualifying offer in order to retain his rights if he ever decides to return to North America.
Kravtsov's move back to Russia and the KHL is working out quite well for him this season and on Saturday, he found the back of the net in Traktor Chelyabinsk's 6-1 win over HC Sochi, who were without Matvei Michkov.
"🚨 Vitaly Kravtsov #Canucks

6-1 Traktor #KHL"
So far this season, Kravtsov, a native of Vladivostok, has appeared in 45 games for Traktor Chelyabinsk where he's managed to put up 30 points (15 goals, 15 assists), 12 penalty minutes and is a plus-three.
It's unclear what Kravtsov's plans are after his contract ends following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign. At that point, he'll be 25 and could be a solid piece for the middle of the lineup in Vancouver.
