LATEST | Story between Pettersson and Tocchet breaks out: Shows how special he is
Elias Pettersson has already proven to be a high-end elite level hockey player. His abilities and mindset are making a huge difference, but the humility he displays on a nightly basis is quite outstanding as well.
In a recently published interview, it was revealed that Pettey had called a meeting with the coach Rick Tocchet to apologize for his poor play, despite leading the NHL in points. Rick Tocchet loved it:
''Petey called me in my office to apologize for playing bad. You got to love guys like that. ''
During that same interview, Tocchet once again confirmed that Pettey had been dealing with issues of his own. There's a rumor going around suggesting that the Swede has yet to play at 100%:
Nevertheless, Pettey has collected a league-leading 24 points in 13 games and he'll be looking to keep that streak alive.
