SIGNING ALERT | Patrik Allvin makes an announcement: An extension has been signed
Ever since Patrik Allvin took over as the team's General Manager, things have taking different directions. While they still have lots of work to do, it's fair to say that Allvin and Rutherford have been great on the free agency market.

Of course Andrei Kuzmenko comes out as the home run, but some signings have gone under the radar and the Swede Nils Aman has to be mentionned. Freshly called up from Abbotsford, the centerman was excellent and provided 2 assists in his return to the NHL.
Moments before the beginning of the game, Allvin confirmed that Aman would be with the Canucks for two more years:
'Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Nils Aman on a two-year contract.''
The 23-year-old still has lots on his plate, but with the proper help he could develop into an outstanding bottom six player in the NHL. Since he crossed to North America, he's collected 18 points in 68 NHL games last year, added 24 in 32 AHL games and now has 2 in his first appearance in the 2023-2024 season.
