It's not a surprise, everyone is well aware that the Canucks have been extremely active on the trade market. New evidence suggests that they have laid eyes on very specific targets and a trade may already be in the works.

HEAVILY SCOUTING A PARTICULAR TEAM

It was recently revealed that the Canucks and the Flyers had been scouting each other. Their current trade targets and needs could very well meet as both teams have been working the phones.

Recent reports have suggested that the Flyers had put Ronan Seeler and Sean Walker on the trade market, while they have been looking to add speed to their forward group:

''Hearing PHI + VAN have been scouting one another. PHI have two D, Seeler + Walker, up for grabs and are looking for speed up front. #canucks''

Walker, a right handed mobile two-way Defenseman, was recently acquired by the Flyers. A pending UFA, he's been showcasing his career's very best hockey and his trade stock is rising. Carrying a $2.65M cap hit until the end of the year, he may just what the Canucks need.

On their end, the Canucks could possibly looking at sending one of Beauvilier or Garland to the Flyers, both speedy and hard working. There's a decent chance they'd fall under John Tortorella's style of play perfectlyx
