The Vancouver Canucks took the hockey world by surprise when they rattled off two quick goals — both from Brock Boeser to cap off a hat-trick — in the final minutes of Game 4 of the opening round before stunning the Nashville Predators with an overtime win. They enter Tuesday night's matchup with a commanding 3-1 series lead and look to become the first Western Conference team to advance in the playoffs.

Forward Conor Garland was adamant and blunt during his media availability ahead of the potential series-clinching meeting.

It's an excellent hockey team. They're hard to beat, so we understand our task at hand tomorrow.

Rookie goaltender Arturs Silovs became the third Latvian goaltender to record a win in the playoffs after he replaced the injured Casey DeSmith for Game 4.

Garland praised the play of Silovs, who had no playoff experience before his surprise start. He also lauded J.T. Miller and Carson Soucy's play, highlighting their importance on the team's first goal during the game's opening minutes.

Vancouver has won all three of their games with different starting goaltenders.
