Important regarding Arturs Silovs': Latvian HC amplifies the injury's severity
Every Canucks' fan skipped a heartbeat when the Latvian National HC took who's viewed as the team's starter off their line-up.
After his domination at the 2023 World Championships, there was no scenario in which Arthur's Silovs wouldn't be their starter without an excellent reason. As it turns out, it ended up being a pretty good thing for the Canucks.

Regardless, it would be a surprise if Silovs wasn't the chosen man to guard the net during the team's season-opening game.
