The Canucks have had plenty of success this season for a multitude of reasons and one of those has been the play for forward J.T. Miller.
After dealing with trade rumours last season, before his contract extension kicked in on July 1st, Miller has taken his game to the next level and has put himself in contention to be the 2023-34 winner of the Cyclone Taylor Trophy, which is given by the Canucks organization to the player who they think is their MVP.
On Saturday night against the Calgary Flames, Miller found the back of the net to give him 34 goals and 90 points on the season so far. In doing so, by reaching the 90-point plateau, Miller has put himself in some pretty elite company in Vancouver Canucks franchise history.
In a post on social media on Sunday night, the Canucks shared that Miller is only the fourth player in franchise history to have multiple seasons of 90 or more points, joining Markus Naslund, Henrik Sedin and Pavel Bure.
With 11 games remaining in the regular season and Miller only needing ten more points to record his first 100-point season, there's no doubt that the 31-year-old will hit that milestone very soon.
6-points away, Elias Pettersson could be the next member of the multiples 90+ seasons:
