Elias Lindholm has scored just four goals as a member of the Vancouver Canucks and they came in two separate two-goal games. With zero goals in his last ten games and just two assists in that span, Lindholm has gone scoreless in 14 of his 16 games as a Canuck.

In Lindholm's defense, he spent five full seasons as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes, and five-plus as a member of the Calgary Flames. He had ample time to grow accustomed to the playing style and systems of his former clubs, perhaps that acclimation has simply yet to happen with Vancouver.

A listener of the Sekeres & Price Podcast pointed out several signs pointing towards an optimistic future for Lindholm and the Canucks, alluding to his unfamiliarity with the system as a new acquisition:

Lindholm, 29, has just seven points in 16 games as a Canuck, but will look to find his game as the season continues and he grows more familiar with the team, atmosphere, and playing style.
