In Lindholm's defense, he spent five full seasons as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes, and five-plus as a member of the Calgary Flames. He had ample time to grow accustomed to the playing style and systems of his former clubs, perhaps that acclimation has simply yet to happen with Vancouver.
