Pius Suter finally opens up regarding his injury

The season hasn't even started yet and the Canucks are already dealing with injuries.

First, Thatcher Demko found his way yet again to the injury reserve, and unfortunate announcement revealed a condition to Dakota Joshua, Pius Suter got injured during an exhibition game and href='https://www.canucksdaily.com/nhl-team/vancouver-canucks/rick-tocchet-provides-update-on-conor-garland-following-absence-from-friday-lineup' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>no pertinent update has been given on Conor Garland yet.

Pius Suter back with his teammates: Opens up on his injury

After the team's Sunday practice, Suter joined the media scrum, opened up on his injury and his potential return to the team's line-up. During the team's practice, he skated alongside Aatu Raty and Nils Hoglander in what was previewed to be Conor Garland's spot.

"Feels pretty good, I feel confident it gets better every day. [I'll] Just see day by day and it was a nice practice to get back into battles with the guys."

Garland shines by his absence

The Canucks were once again Garlandless during their practice. a last-minute lineup change saw the forward sitting on Friday, after Tocchet revealed that he had «tweaked» something during the team morning skate, no update containing revealing information has been given. Hopes around the team are that he should be ready to go by Wednesday for the team's season opener against the Flames.

Injuries helping two youngsters cases

An old saying describes it best, one's misfortune is another one's fortune. Dakota Joshua and Conor Garland are currently sitting on the sidelines and it's giving a much longer opportunity for Aatu Raty and Arshdeep Bains to prove their worth. Their play as obviously been great since training camp started, but has it been good enough to pass over a veteran like Pius Suter? Or perhaps Nils Aman?
