After missing the electric matchup with Team USA on Saturday, Team Canada has hinted at superstar defenseman Cale Makar's status for today's elimination game vs Finland.

Team Canada Announces Cale Makar is in against Finland
Team Canada suffered a heartbreaking loss to their biggest rivals in Team USA on Saturday evening and a major factor in that disappointment was due to Canda not having their number 1 d-man in Cale Makar.
Initially a game time decision, he was ultimately ruled out to play after he was suffering from an undisclosed illness.
Now, just minutes before puck drop, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that Cale Makar is indeed on the ice for warmups and that he is fully expected to play in the most important game yet.
