With the 2024-25 season right around the corner, the NHL's broadcasting partners have begun to share their schedules with which games they plan on featuring throughout the year. While Canadian teams are rarely shown on US national broadcasts, the Vancouver Canucks will be shown on ESPN and TNT next season.
In total, five Vancouver Canucks games will be broadcasted nationally in the United States next season - three on ESPN and two on TNT.
The first of the five games is set for Wednesday, February 26th at 7 pm PT as the Canucks head down to Hollywood to take on the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena. That game will be shown on ESPN.
Another nationally televised game in the US for the Canucks will see the battle of the Hughes brothers as Quinn takes on Jack and Luke in New Jersey on March 24th.
Here's a full list of US national broadcasts featuring the Vancouver Canucks:
- Wednesday, February 26th @ Los Angeles Kings (7 pm PT) TNT
- Thursday, March 20th @ St. Louis Blues (4:30 pm PT) ESPN
- Monday, March 24th @ New Jersey Devils (4:30 pm PT) ESPN
- Sunday, April 6th vs Vegas Golden Knights (7 pm PT) ESPN
- Wednesday, April 16th vs Vegas Golden Knights (7 pm PT) TNT
Being shown on national television in the United States will expose the Vancouver Canucks to a wider audience, which is great for the team and their brand. A big reason the Canucks got five games on US national television is because of their star power on the roster, which includes Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller and others.
